MP3 to Support Henry's medical related expenses just released!
This time last year we were all praying and hoping against all hope that God would spare Henry Green's life. Our prayers were answered and Henry is alive, well and making music again!
At the same time, he is facing some major surgery and major expenses as he begins the long process of an intestinal transplant. This is the price of having his guts shot out last year.
Henry has been blessed by Amtrak with free transportation to the DC area for the surgery, and by the Ronald McDonald House helping defray housing costs for his mom. There is still however the issue of lost wages and increased expenses that the family will have to contend with for several months. We want to help.
Henry just released his first CD entitled "From Hell's Kitchen to Heaven's Gate." In it, he displays his musical and lyrical talents in an extradinary way. One of the cuts, Musichead, is a hip hop ballad that tells the story of a young DJ who seeks to escape the hazards of the streets by way of his music. There is something wonderfully haunting and yet familiar about the song. I first heard it when Henry was up in Yale's Intensive Care hanging on to life by a thread....something about it went right through me!
