Delaware Powwow

On Sunday, September 7, 2008 at this year's Nanticoke Indian Powwow in Millsboro, DE. members of our own "Heart of Worship" sang in sweet, anointed harmony and made the way for Pastor Todd (AKA "Living Water") to bring forth a Word from the Lord on the topic of harmony. Tribe members confirmed that this was a timely and desparately needed message from the Lord! We thank God for the privilege of serving near and far! God is doing something there among the Nanticokes. The new chief is born again and spirit filled, as is the new pastor of the Indian Mission Methodist Church!

... meaanwhile, fun was had by all in the outside courtyard...

...and 225 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to the kids of Farnam as well as other neighborhood kids!!

Gas Buydown was a Great Success!

God was in it all the way! The bright sun, smiling faces,  and cheap gas prices were accompanied by prayer, cleaned windshields, cold bottles of water, and many bags of chips! We gave new meaning to the term "Full Service Station."  It all  made for an absolutely blessed event on August 16th.  We pumped over 1000 gallons of gas and completed several surveys toward the completion of our Youth Center Needs Assessment.  It was a phenomenal "missions trip" to our own backyard.   The gas station was so blessed that they bought us lunch AND contributed the full amount of our .50/gallon subsidy back to the Youth Center.  Now, that was a God thing!
